Welcome to Lucia's Workshop channel! My name is Lucia.
I've been working in a bank for a long time, but I always loved getting new experience and one day I decided to learn welding, turning, milling and plasma cutting in my grandfather's workshop. My grandpa is too old to work there, but he is very happy that I have breathed new life into it. Since 2020 I built an aluminium boat (my grandpa's dream), belt grinder, CNC plasma cutting machine and I'm building a skid steer at the moment.
There are a lot of ideas and projects ahead. So if you are interested in, welcome aboard ;)

DIY SKID STEER. 1st REAL TESTS!
It’s working! I couldn’t wait to test my skid steer in the snow this season, and even lack of snow couldn’t stop me. We drove the loader 600km to a place where the snow is up to the roof to make REAL tests… And he did it! So get ready for the trip with me😉

Great news is that my loader has a bucket and a Bob-Tach now! However, I figured out a serious problem with hydraulics that I have to solve. Finally I connected the hydraulics of the loader and was so happy about it! However, the first tests made me pretty nervous, because it turned out that I made a lot of mistakes… In general, you’d better see how it was 😉 Previous videos about skid steer build. • Part 1: ua-cam.com/video/H3JhWAtxJUo/v-deo.html • Part 2: ua-cam.com/video/EBdfejTX8RE/v-deo.html • Part 3: ua-cam.com/video/syfKm1FDzS...

Cleaning snow, digging, loading, transporting, and possibly many other types of work - doesn't matter, the loader is an indispensable assistant. It's a very interesting project, but the most difficult one I've done so far. The lift arms build has literally blown my mind, but I do like how the result looks. And what do you think? Support of my project is much appreciated (BTC): 1GJC4jge4WdyEtkzF...

I will really need a welding positioner for the construction of my skid steer and not only. It took a lot of welding and metalworking to create it, but I'm sooo happy with the result! Come check it out too ;)

well done! Few little twicks and will be done. May be worth checking if there is any way to increase the ground clerance on the back side,a bit more of the approach angle wouldn't hurt
You rock!! 😀😀👍👍
nice job hope to do as well as you have done from a beer drinking old man
Good job!!!
The most amazing woman on the internet. Your skills are well refined. Well done.
Don’t paint. We’ll done
Классное, интересное получилось видео! Мне очень понравилось! Круто Круто!!!👍❤️
Люся ты выйдешь за меня?
Hi Lucia. Great videos. 2 questions. do you provide plans for your builds and can you tell me what kind of linear rails you use for this. Thanks
Good job
Watched all your videos again but I don’t see any new projects. Maybe you can build some electro magnetic basis for a drill press. Just an idea.❤
Hà nội việt nam thanhs you .Xin cám ơn
If i may. It would be better to raise your bucket some and reverse onto the ramps. The front doesnt protrude so far past the wheels as the rear so the chance of hitting the ground is not so high. Also may i suggest some tipe of counter wheight at the rear maybe old tractor ones, if the machine felt if it was see sawing over rough ground with a load. If not it probably not needed. This thing of your so neat im jealous😊
Отличная работа! Великолепная Люция! Классное получилось видео! Мне очень понравилось! Круто Круто!!!👍❤️

This is what they call over-engineering👏👏👏
My kind of girl. I love it!
No improvement needed, looks stunning. The belt grinder does as well!
Just subscribed to your channel. I really appreciate your safety habits like the use of safety glasses, no gloves while using the drill press, etc. Your video quality is excellent as well. Well done!!!!
😮 Автору видео, вы где учились, явно не здешный, назавите вуз существуеши, или это технар, от удевления вам спасибо, что выкладываете класное видео, супер класс.
Great work! You have done an amazing job building that all yourself! Russia is such a crazy country! Your cars and trucks are so unique there is almost nothing in any of your videos from other countries it’s so different!
Watched some of your other videos and was curious of your filming location. Was right on Russia, but thought you were possibly Italian or Spanish decent. You should do a shop tour of the equipment. The lathe and mill look interesting and would be interesting to learn about some of the Russian equipment. Keep up the great work.
Enjoying the build. Curious on where you are filming? Lucia sounds more like your from Italy or Spain, but some of the writing in the videos looks like Russian. Keep up the great work.
Holy cow this was not what I expected when you said you were going to make a belt grinder. I expected the same old sharpie pen and grinding disc cutting I've seen on dozens of other channels. My gosh you machined all the brackets and the adjustments and even cast the wheels?!? I bet that thing weighs 75 lbs. My hat is off to you ma'am, that is the finest hand made belt grinder I have ever seen. So glad this showed up in my recommendations, you have a new subscriber. 😎👍
Honestly I was shocked that you bought a trailer instead of building it yourself maybe that's in the future😂
Amazing build👍The motor sounds too under powered, upgrade in the future perhaps...
Nice
Great results, well done!
Lucia! You have some incredible talent!!! So impressive!
FYI: 255 cm is 100 3/8 inches (less than 8' 6") for us non metric folks
Needs more power
I guess you got A lot of surface rust after this test.. But still I understand you want to test it before painting it in case of more welding or changes... I hope it won't be too much work cleaning it up again :)
Are you single?
Many condolences for your great loss, Lucia.
Idk how far you are building that, but you really need some sort of rollover protection. Skid steers rollover really easily.
Por qué no utilizas protección en tus oídos cuando utilizas la cortadora angular? Si no lo haces, con el tiempo se dañaran.
Outstanding job!! Do you have plans to add a heater to the cab? Such a great build, many thanks for sharing!
Mam I shore can’t to see it all done looks very good so fare
Very impressive
This is awesome!!!
Did you use a high flow hydraulic motor?
Great job. You have the pride of knowing that you built a working machine. You can improve it as you discover the areas that need it. Congratulations!
Generally the throttle is at full speed. You control the flow of power with your hands and/or foot controls. It’s not like a car that is almost the opposite…controlling mostly the throttle. Most of the operations are achieved combination/compound movement…like a dance…..not a robot dance. Eg. Picking up a load of sand with your bucket is a combination of bucket curl, arm lifting and forward movement all at the same time….otherwise you will get little into the bucket. Practice….it becomes natural…like learning to dance.
There is nothing hotter then a Sheila with a welder and knows how to use it. Do you have a play list for the cnc build
🎉👏 6.5hrs of work! Pretty awesome test! When you finish the cab will you be routing any heat into it? 😉
You are a bad ass! Love what you do! Keeps me on my toes as I work on building tools for my young metal fabrication company. I need a forklift, I will probably buy a cheap used one but after seeing this, maybe I can build one, or at least refurbish one! Thank you for your inspiration!
Rule of Thumb - Back up an incline, drive down an incline. Makes loading onto a trailer a lot easier.
Good job
